In compliance with Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), its Regulations and the Privacy Notice Guidelines, FUR Control de Plagas provides you with this notice.

1. Who is responsible for your personal data

FUR Control de Plagas, located in Querétaro, Querétaro, Mexico, contact email fur.controldeplagasmx@gmail.com, is responsible for the processing of your personal data.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect only the data needed to handle your service request:

  • Name or company name.
  • Phone and/or WhatsApp number, and contact email address.
  • Address or location of the property where the service will be performed.
  • Information about the type of pest, the characteristics of the property and services previously contracted.

We do not collect sensitive personal data, nor asset or financial data, through this website.

3. Purposes of processing

Primary purposes (necessary for our relationship with you):

  • Preparing quotes and scheduling inspection visits.
  • Providing the pest control services you contract.
  • Issuing the official health certificate, invoices and any documentation required by applicable regulations.
  • Following up on guarantees and handling queries.

Secondary purposes (you may opt out without affecting your service): sending promotions, preventive maintenance reminders and satisfaction surveys. If you do not want your data used for these purposes, let us know on WhatsApp or at the email address in point 1.

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

This site uses cookies and similar technologies — including third-party tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) — to measure traffic, understand how the site is navigated and evaluate the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

This information is collected in aggregate form and does not identify you personally. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; doing so does not prevent you from using the site, although some features may be limited.

5. Data transfers

We do not sell, rent or tradeyour personal data. It is shared only when required by a competent authority — such as COFEPRIS (Mexico’s health authority) or state health authorities during inspections — or when necessary to comply with a legal obligation. In these cases your consent is not required under article 37 of the LFPDPPP.

6. ARCO rights

You have the right to Access your personal data, Rectify it when inaccurate, Cancel it when you believe it is no longer needed, and Object to its processing for specific purposes. You may also withdraw any consent you have given us.

To exercise any of these rights, send your request to fur.controldeplagasmx@gmail.com stating your name, a means of contact, a clear description of the data the request concerns, and a document proving your identity. We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described and for the retention periods required by applicable health and tax regulations. Once those periods end, the data is blocked and subsequently deleted.

8. Changes to this privacy notice

Any change to this notice will be published on this same page. We recommend reviewing it periodically. The date of the last update appears at the top of the document.

9. Competent authority

If you believe your right to the protection of personal data has been infringed, you may contact the competent personal data protection authority in Mexico.

10. Language

This is a courtesy translation. This notice is issued under Mexican law, and in the event of any discrepancy the Spanish version prevails.
